Screw pump is a single-screw transfer pump. Its main working components are an eccentric spiral screw (known as the rotor) and a screw bushing with a double-threaded helical inner surface (known as the stator).
Working principle: When the electric pump shaft rotates, the screw spins around its own axis while rolling along the inner surface of the bushing. This type of pump is a single-screw positive displacement rotary pump. By the rotation of the eccentric single spiral screw inside the double-threaded bushing, dense slurry is pushed along the helical grooves from the suction inlet to the discharge outlet, thereby realizing the pumping and conveying function.
It features powerful self-priming capacity and can draw liquid directly without installing a foot valve.
The pump is reversible; the liquid flow direction can be switched by changing the pump’s rotation direction, making it suitable for pipelines requiring forward and reverse flushing.
It operates smoothly with low vibration and low noise.
Simple structure enables easy disassembly, assembly and maintenance.
Allowable working temperature up to 120℃.
