The hopper-type screw pump is equipped with a rectangular feed hopper, and a spiral feeder is mounted on the connecting rod. It is suitable for media containing liquids that cannot flow by gravity. A stirring rod can be installed when conveying slag slurry to prevent sedimentation. For high-concentration slag slurry, a large squeezing and crushing hopper can be added to avoid blockages. The pump can be fitted with various drives, with three-phase gear reduction motors as the preferred matching unit.
Custom hoppers can be fabricated at the inlet for special materials upon customer request to guarantee smooth feeding. This enables pressure-free discharge, improves pump efficiency, extends service life and solves customers’ conveying difficulties.
Multiple inlet and outlet connection types are optional: quick-clamp sanitary connections, flanged connections, internal threads, external threads and union joints.
Pump housing materials are available in cast iron, stainless steel 304, stainless steel 316 and 316L, to be selected according to actual medium conditions.
