LY Long Shaft Submerged Pump

The LY type long shaft submerged pump is a vertical centrifugal pump. It is widely applied in chemical, petroleum, electric power, metallurgy, pharmaceutical, papermaking, environmental protection and other industries. It is suitable for conveying corrosive liquids and liquids containing solid particles. Developed with optimized domestic hydraulic models, the LY submerged pump features high efficiency, energy saving and stable operation.
The LY / LYO / LYG series long shaft submerged pumps adopt international hydraulic models and are designed and manufactured in accordance with API 610 VS4 standards. The pump shaft is supported by sliding bearings installed in the pump cover and sliding bearing housing. The upper bearing is made of wear-resistant material and lubricated with lithium-based grease.
This series is applicable for the delivery of various corrosive liquids and clean water, as well as sewage containing solid particles or fibers.
Medium temperature range of LY / LYO type: -20℃ ~ +120℃
Medium temperature of LYG type: up to +400℃
Maximum working pressure: 1.6 MPa

Structural Features of LY Long Shaft Submerged Pump

  1. The connecting shaft structure of LY type long shaft submerged pump is safe and reliable.
  2. The rotor assembly allows axial adjustment.
  3. The rotor assembly adopts multi-point support to ensure safe and stable pump operation.
  4. Sliding bearings adopt external lubrication or self-lubrication.
  5. The impeller is submerged in the medium upon startup, enabling easy start-up without air exhaust or cavitation issues.
  6. Pumps with a diameter of 80mm and above adopt a double volute casing, which reduces radial force on the rotor assembly, minimizes shaft deflection, lowers sliding bearing wear and extends service life.
  7. Viewed from the motor end, the pump rotates clockwise.
