Self-balancing Multistage Centrifugal Pump
Adopts advanced hydraulic models and is independently developed as a high-efficiency, energy-saving product.Unlike conventional multistage pumps, the rotor of this self-balancing symmetrical multistage pump eliminates balance disc wear and axial pulsation, keeping the impeller and diffuser centered in an optimal position at all times. This avoids the significant efficiency drop that occurs in standard multistage pumps as balance discs wear and rotor components shift forward.Additionally, the elimination of balance water leakage reduces volumetric losses, improving overall pump operating efficiency and lowering shaft power consumption. Its efficiency is 2%–3% higher on average than that of conventional multistage pumps.

The ZD self-balancing symmetrical horizontal multistage pump is a high-efficiency, high-pressure centrifugal pump developed in accordance with the API610 standard. It is designed to meet user demands, accelerate technological advancement in high-pressure multistage pumps, adopt advanced technologies from similar overseas products, integrate the company’s years of design experience, and utilize hydraulic models of recommended high-efficiency and energy-saving products.
It features a wide high-efficiency range, broad performance coverage, excellent cavitation resistance, few wearing parts, and convenient installation and maintenance. Its reliability is significantly enhanced, with a trouble-free operating life more than three times that of conventional pumps, greatly reducing user maintenance costs and thereby lowering the overall life cycle cost of the pump.
As an innovative structure over traditional multistage centrifugal pumps, the high-pressure self-balanging segmental centrifugal pump eliminates the axial force balancing mechanism of conventional multistage pumps, making it an ideal replacement for D and DG type multistage centrifugal pumps equipped with balance disks or balance drums.Without a balancing device, it eliminates both disc friction loss of balance disks and balance reflux loss, resulting in a 5%–14% higher pump efficiency compared to equivalent multistage pumps. Meanwhile, it completely resolves failures such as wear of balance disks and their seats or rotor seizure caused by balancing device malfunction, substantially extending the service life of the pump.
