SPP Type Chemical Mixed-Flow Pump

Product Detail

SPP mixed-flow pump, also known as semi-axial flow pump, is a type of pump whose performance falls between centrifugal pumps and axial flow pumps. It is applicable to forced circulation in chemical processes, mariculture, city gas projects and water treatment systems.
SPP pumps can economically and efficiently deliver large-flow, low-head liquids, including clean liquids or liquids containing certain solid particles, as well as chemically neutral or corrosive liquids (please specify if handling highly corrosive media).
This chemical pump features high efficiency and low energy consumption with stable power consumption across the full operating range. It can be started with the discharge valve closed without causing motor overload. It has a large flow passage to prevent clogging, a robust structure and a long service life.

The mixed-flow pump adopts a back pull-out design. When inspecting or disassembling the impeller and shaft seal, there is no need to detach the pipelines connected to the pump casing.
It is equipped with a precision-machined pump shaft and thin-oil-lubricated bearings, plus a protective shaft sleeve installed inside the stuffing box cover.
The oil level inside the bearing housing is regulated by a constant-level oil cup.
The support feet of the pump casing bear all loads transmitted from pipelines and transfer them directly to the foundation. This prevents rotor deflection caused by pipeline loads, thus extending bearing service life.
The large flow cross-section effectively reduces clogging risks.
Viewed from the drive end, the pump rotates clockwise. It can be driven by an electric motor or internal combustion engine.
A complete air vent assembly can be fitted on the pump unit to facilitate air evacuation from the suction pipeline.
