Type AY oil pumps are available in five structural configurations: single-stage single-suction cantilever, two-stage single-suction cantilever, single-stage double-suction cantilever, single-stage double-suction double-support, and two-stage single-suction double-support.
The pump casing adopts radial split construction and is mounted on horizontal centerline supports. Both suction and discharge flanges face vertically upward. For shaft sealing, soft packing can be used, and it is interchangeable with mechanical seals.
The bearing housing is fitted with a set of radial ball bearings and a pair of back-to-back mounted thrust ball bearings lubricated by thin oil. To simplify maintenance, there is no need to disassemble the suction or discharge pipelines. Equipped with an elastic pin extended coupling (elastic diaphragm coupling is also optional), the impeller, bearings and other components can be easily removed for inspection and repair.

The AY series centrifugal oil pump is remodeled and redesigned on the basis of the traditional Type Y oil pump.
  • The bearing housings of the original models 35, 50 and 60 are replaced with 45, 55 and 70 bearing housings respectively to improve operational reliability.
  • High-efficiency hydraulic models are adopted for the hydraulic wetted sections, lifting the average efficiency by 5~8% compared with the old Type Y oil pump.
  • For good compatibility, the structural form, overall installation dimensions and performance parameter range of AY series oil pumps are consistent with the old Type Y series, facilitating renovation and upgrade of existing equipment.
  • High universality of spare parts; standard general parts are shared among multiple specifications.
  • Optimized material selection: Class II and Class III materials are adopted as the main body materials. Components such as bearing housings are available in cast steel and cast iron versions, making the pumps suitable for outdoor service in cold regions and marine applications.
  • Three bearing cooling options are available: air cooling, fan cooling and water cooling, selected according to the operating temperature of the pump. Fan cooling is especially suitable for areas with water shortage or poor water quality.
  • Rotation direction: counterclockwise when viewed from the motor end.
  • Compliance standards: GB3215-82 and API 610 (OH2)
