LHY Submerged Sulfur Pump is suitable for conveying liquid sulfur at 130–158 °C in sulfuric acid production processes of various scales. It is also applicable to other chemical processes requiring small flow rate and high head.
Due to its extremely high head, very small flow rate and exceptionally low specific speed, the performance requirements of the LHY liquid sulfur pump cannot be met by conventional centrifugal pumps, while vortex pumps suffer from unstable performance during operation. Therefore, an innovative technical solution is adopted in its hydraulic design, granting it unique advantages not possessed by ordinary centrifugal pumps and vortex pumps.
The pump head remains constant even when the flow rate of the liquid sulfur pump varies over a wide range. This feature makes it particularly suitable for chemical processes that require self-regulating characteristics of the pump.
